With heavier 4 stroke, 3seat PWCs becoming the norm, CanDock,
one of our other primary suppliers
has just introduced a wonderful piece of engineering. The
price is excellent and for owners of 3 and 4 seaters, there's nothing near it so
suited to that market.

Ringed with CanDOCK's successful modular dock cubes, a central 'slide' accepts the PWC as it's driven aboard. Unlike other designs, the high capacity floatation cubes provide a more stable platform, and when mated to the low slung slide, make entry easy. The basic 4x6cube unit supports over 3,000 lbs (double or more that of our competitors) and gives you almost 18" extra width over the ‘tip-toe-around' width of others. Especially with children involved, we wanted stability at all times. The 8.5ft 'slide' protrudes down and back to lift the approaching watercraft clear of the water and then, with a varying side slope, cradles the hull high above wave action no matter the amount of V in the PWC's design. The slide drains all water away leaving a clean and safe platform. There are no open holes on or between multiple PWC docks waiting for an accident. Especially in saltwater installations, a barnacle encrusted opening is something we'd all like to avoid. Built entirely of grey HDpolyethylene, the platform doesn't burn your feet and will last for decades in the hot sun. There is nothing to corrode, no metal clamps or bolt-on adapters to rip the plastic skin apart in rough water situations.
The JetSLIDE can be
anchored using common 1-1/14" galvanized pipe jetted or augured into the
bottom or attached to a floating structure. This simple installation
works in tidal areas as well as reservoirs with varying water levels.
As part of CanDOCK's modular system, the unit could be added to an existing
CanDOCK structure.
The CanDOCK platform is larger than most everyone else in the
business. The basic single JetSLIDE is about 6-1/2ft wide and 10-1/2ft
long. However, size is up to the customer; extra cubes give extra buoyancy
and more walk around room. The multi-slide models can employ a
single row of cubes between adjacent slides (matching the available real estate
of most all our competitors), or you may add a row of cubes between or in front
of the slides to increase your accessibility.
The CanDOCK JetSLIDE can be shipped economically via motor freight.
Assembly and installation is not difficult. Like a child's
building blocks, they go together simply without cutting or drilling.
